Overview

This site is the personal author website of ZENA. It collects as little information as possible and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The notes below explain what is stored, when, and why.

Cookies

Only strictly-necessary cookies are used. These keep the site functional and are exempt from consent requirements under UK and EU law.

Sign-in is handled by Clerk. When you create an account or sign in, Clerk sets session cookies so you stay signed in between pages. These are essential for account features and cannot be disabled without breaking them.

Checkout is handled by Stripe. If you purchase a book or print, Stripe sets cookies required to process the payment and to prevent fraud. These cookies are only set when you visit the checkout page.

Data we store

If you create an account, we store your email address and any profile details you choose to add. If you make a purchase, Stripe processes your payment and we receive a record of the order (items, total, shipping address). We do not see or store your card details.

We do not sell, share, or rent your information to third parties. The only processors that touch your data are Clerk (authentication) and Stripe (payments).

Your rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Email the address below and we will respond within thirty days.
